On July 8, 2024, a coming soon image for their fifth single album, "Weekend" was released on their official SNS.[1] On July 10, pre-orders opened, revealing the release date to be August 19.[2] On August 6, DRIPPIN released a new teaser video with the group taking a bus to the beach. The members exude youthful energy and enjoy spending time together.[3] On the same day, they unveiled a promotion scheduler with a basic design against a blue background, hinting at their comeback with a fresh and cool summer vibe.[4]

The single album sold 66,090 copies on its first day, breaking the group's previous record.[5] It later reported to sold around 193,750 copies in its first week according to the Hanteo chart, outselling their fourth single album "Beautiful MAZE", which had around 130,000 sales in its first week.[6]
